General Return Information
- All return requests must be submitted through the “Contact Us” form on the Medical and Science Depot homepage.
- Please include your Medical and Science Depot invoice number, reason for return, item number, quantity to return, and the condition of the product (e.g., unopened, damaged, defective).
Returns That Will Be Provided (Return Goods Authorization – RGA)
- Mis-shipments or defective products can be returned without freight charges. Medical and Science Depot will arrange for pick-up.
- No returns will be accepted without an RGA. Only products and quantities approved on the RGA should be returned.
- Within 72 hours of shipment, Medical and Science Depot must be notified of any shipping discrepancies. Please provide a copy of the packing receipt detailing any damages or shortages.
- Medical and Science Depot Customer Service will acknowledge receipt of your discrepancy within 24 hours via email.
- All returned products must be in their original container and free of any labels or other markings.
- Certain equipment returns may be subject to vendor restrictions.
- New and unopened products must be returned within 21 days of delivery for a determined refund. If the return is due to Medical and Science Depot error, we cover shipping costs.
Additional Return Information
- Products not stocked in the Medical and Science Depot warehouse are subject to manufacturer return restrictions.
- Returns with an RGA will range from approximately $25 to $35 per box returned.
- Pharmaceutical pedigrees purchased from Medical and Science Depot are not returnable unless shipped in error or defective.
- Returned product credit can take up to 4 weeks after receipt.
- If only part of an item or an item deemed unsaleable is returned, the item will not be credited.

- Refunds are not available for customized, disposable, or single-use items, unless they arrived defective or damaged.

- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, refunds will be processed within 4 weeks to the original payment method.
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
- Please contact us within 72 hours of receiving damaged or defective items, and we will arrange for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping costs.
