This practical feature helps to simplify the weighing process especially in the ER/ED. A cable-remote display with easy-to-read LCD figures is included. This display is operated intuitively and is equipped with many additional functions. With the pre-TARE function, the extra weight of a stretcher/gurney or wheelchair can be deducted directly from the total weight during the weighing process. Thanks to its robust design and capacity of 800 lbs, the seca 656 can weigh even overweight persons with no problem at all. The seca 216 has a variable scale with a range of 1.4 – 90″ that is inserted into a 55.3 inch frame. The height rod is easily mounted on the wall at the desired height. As the user can choose the measurement range based on how the height rod is mounted on the wall, the seca 216 is suitable for measuring children or adults. The results are clearly displayed in a window on the side of the rod. Head piece freedom of movement can be adjusted with tensioner knob. Measurement scale is printed in centimeters on one side of the tape and centimeters and inches on the other.

The EMR-validated measuring station seca 284, shorter version (86.4″ / 219 cm) for use in rooms with lower suspended ceilings, allows measuring and weighing to be done in a simple step. Other benefits include the high-capacity scale integrated in a stable glass platform, the heel positioner and solid headpiece with the integrated seca Frankfurt Line for precise head positioning. The measuring station is equipped with two displays, one is for a direct read-out of height from the headpiece and the other, a three-line multi-function touch display that shows height, weight and the automatically calculated BMI.
